Why Use a Car Wash Mitt?

If you’re serious about car maintenance, using a car wash mitt or pad makes the experience more efficient and gives you more control.

Instead of maneuvering floppy, wet cloths, you can slip a mitt on your hand and wash away. It goes exactly where you need it, keeps your hands a bit more protected, and the surface of these mitts has been designed to get extra soapy.

Wash Mitt Noodle/Pile Size

Our car wash mitts have various textures to them that allow the material to capture suds and therefore dirt and grime. Many of our Chemical Guys mitts will have what we call ‘noodles’ in either short & stubby, medium, or extra-long lengths. These are made from chenille microfiber and make for an extra-soapy, extra-effective car wash.

Washing the Washer

When your wash mitts need a wash themselves, just toss them into the washing machine with our Microfiber Detergent and run them in hot water. Dry on low heat and they’ll be ready to go for the next detailing day.
