How To Use Clay Bar Lubricant Correctly

Wash the Vehicle Thoroughly Before Claying: Clay decontamination is a post-wash step. Wash with a pH-balanced car wash soap and rinse completely. Any loose surface grit during the clay session gets dragged across the paint under the clay bar, causing scratches that the lubricant cannot prevent.
Mist Clay Luber Generously Before Each Pass: Apply Clay Luber to both the paint surface and the face of the clay bar before each pass. The lubricant layer needs to be wet and active throughout. Apply to one panel section at a time rather than coating the entire panel at once.
