Shipping & Returns

How Long Does It take to process an order?

Orders can take between 1-3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) to process and ship.

If placed before 1PM EST, many orders will process and ship on the same day.

Orders may include multiple packages and can arrive at different times within the delivery window.

Please Note: Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii may take 4-6 weeks for delivery.

How Long Does Shipping Take?

Once your order is processed and shipped, you can expect to receive it within 2-9 business days.

We ship via standard ground shipping with USPS, FedEx and Amazon Logistics. We do not current offer express shipping options.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. Any order that totals $75 or more, before taxes and after discounts, qualifies for free standard flat rate shipping.

We offer $5 flat rate shipping on all other orders.

Please Note: Alaska & Hawaii are excluded from free shipping and $5 flat rate.

Can I cancel or make changes to an order?

Please contact Customer Service immediately after placing an order if you need to cancel.

Orders can only be cancelled within 1 hour of being placed. After 1 hour has elapsed, your order cannot be cancelled or changed

Can I Return My Order?

Yes. You can return your order within 30 days of purchase. Please refer to our return policy for full details:

How can I track my order?

You'll receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order ships. You can also check on the status of your order at any time from your Account.

What is Extend Shipping Protection?

We’ve partnered with Extend to offer Shipping Protection – coverage for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. If something goes wrong during shipping, Extend makes it easy to file a claim and get resolution.

Most often, Extend will send you a debit card for the value of your item(s), including shipping and taxes, so you can quickly get a replacement. For full coverage details, click here.

What should I do if my order is lost, stolen or damaged?

No worries! We’ll do our best to help resolve your issue. Please submit your issue here, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

What should I do if I received a wrong item or an item in my order is missing?

I purchased chemical guys products from a third party site/store, can you help me?

If the item(s) was purchased within the last 30 days, we suggest referring to the site/store in which the item(s) was purchased as they are the 'seller of record.'

Do you offer 'will call' or 'pick up'?

We do not offer will call or pick up on any order(s) placed on our website at this time. If you're looking to make a purchase in person, please visit the Detail Garage location nearest you.

If I bought something from chemical guys website, can I return it at a local detail garage store?

No. Purchases from our online site and Detail Garage stores are considered separate. Any item(s) purchased at a Detail Garage store will need to be addressed with that particular store directly.

Can I place a tax-exempt order?

We do not accept tax exempt orders through our website. Chemical Guys have partnered with two of the top wholesale distributors in the US.

Can I Ship to a freight forwarding company?

No. We do not ship to freight forwarding companies; no exceptions.

If in any case you happen to ship to a freight forwarding company, Chemical Guys is not responsible for any loss, damage or theft.

Can I Order internationally?

We do not currently ship outside of the United States from www.chemicalguys.com.

Please Note: Orders placed from an international IP address are subject to cancellation.

Do you ship to PO BOXES or APO Addresses?

No. We do not offer shipping to PO boxes or APO addresses at this time.

If i live in hawaii or alaska, what are my shipping options?

Hawaii and Alaska have their own shipping rate that you will see during check out.

Please Note: Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii may take 4-6 weeks for delivery.
