Order Management Specialist

The Order Management Specialist will be responsible for ensuring high levels of order fulfillment and providing world class customer service. This person will work closely with the Chemical Guys Amazon Sales Director to provide updates in terms of Purchase Orders, shipping, and order fulfillment. This person will also work closely with Amazon Team to provide updates as needed. Maintaining data integrity within the key order management systems (Oracle, Vendor Central, and Cognos) will be critical.

Job Accountabilities

  • Ensure all Amazon orders are received correctly, with correct items, quantities, prices
  • Ensure all Amazon orders are successfully transmitted to 3PL
  • Ensure all Amazon orders are processed and shipped in timely manner
  • Work with Chemical Guys Planning Team and 3PL facility to manage order over allocations
  • Be responsible for elements of Amazon Scorecard (On time shipping, PO accuracy, ASN accuracy, Fill Rate)
  • Provide reports and updates to Director Business Intelligence / VP Supply Chain on status of Amazon orders
  • Be responsible for reviewing and disputing chargebacks, shortage claims from Amazon

Experiecnce & Requirements

  • Previous experience working directly with Amazon
  • Previous order administration for high volume order account
  • Previous experience working with 3PL warehouse partner
  • Strong systems knowledge working within ERP, WMS, OMS (Oracle preferred)
  • Working experience with scheduling order pickups, working with freight carriers
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Good technical and IT skills

Inventory Control Manager

The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all inventory is accounted for in an accurate and timely manner. The Inventory Control Manager will ensure that processes exist and are adhered to that ensure timely and accurate processing of all inventory transactions. This person will utilize the Chemical Guys ERP system (Oracle) and ensure that it is accurately aligned with all other inventory record-keeping systems; this includes our own internal operation Manufacturing Operation as well as alignment with 3rd party systems (3pl providers, contract manufacturing, etc). The Inventory Control Manager will need to identify and develop metrics / reporting to ensure that any deficiencies are quickly identified and corrected. He/she will be responsible for working closely with our finance/accounting team to ensure key company performance indicators related to inventory are understood, being monitored, and being addressed (if there are any issues); in fact, there will be a dotted line reporting relationship to the Corporate Controller. Real time reporting and providing visibility and proposed action plans to any issues will be key; as such this person will need to be a strong communicator and action oriented. This person will help identify staffing needs and manage people as necessary to perform Inventory Control duties. This person will be responsible for coordinating the annual year end physical inventory across all inventory holding locations.

Job Accountabilities

  • Ensure strong inventory control processes exist within all facets of Operations / Supply Chain that impact inventory
  • Work closely with the dept Director to establish standards and tolerances for inventory variances by site
  • Utilize Chemical Guys ERP system (Oracle Cloud) to manage and facilitate inventory transactions
  • Lead the year end physical inventory process
  • Work closely with key partners (3rd Party Logistics partners, Contract Manufacturers) to ensure inventory alignment between systems
  • Work closely with key partners to ensure their inventory control processes are strong and robust enough to meet our requirements
  • Be a key stakeholder/team member of project teams focused on operations/inventory integrations between Chemical Guys and key business partners (suppliers/service providers/customers)
  • Identify and communicate resource needs for inventory dept to be able to successfully perform job duties
  • Develop monthly reporting and meeting cadence to measure and communicate inventory accuracy results and issues to Operations and Finance teams

Experiecnce & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science or business-based programs (preferred)
  • Previous experience leading an inventory dept in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience working with 3rd party logistics organizations (directly or indirectly)
  • Previous experience working with Oracle Cloud (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational, and leadership skills
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory control procedures
  • Strong knowledge of mathematics, data analysis, and statistical methods
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Good technical and IT skills
