SUMMARY: The Item Master Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the Item Master module in Oracle for the entire company across all regions. POSITION:


This position has responsibilities that include serving as a project lead for assigned new store openings and conducting ongoing delivery of field training for Detail Garage stores. The E-Commerce Specialist supports the Direct-to-Consumer team by taking responsibility for the optimization of the shopping experience. The E-Commerce Specialist will work cross-functionally with other teams to develop and execute key content & merchandising initiatives, strategies, and business priorities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Report to and work with the VP of Marketing on building and execute a strategic roadmap for the web presence, including content, merchandising, navigation, search engine optimization, mobile optimization, and UX/UI.

SUMMARY: Chemical Guys is seeking a talented Director Global Transportation that will be responsible for building out a team to manage all inbound and outbound transportation, import clearance, freight bill review, duty drawback and US Customs compliance programs. You will support an omni-channel business with customer verticals including the DTC, owned retail stores, specialty retail accounts and international distributor verticals.

  • Develop transportation strategies to meet the needs of our omni-channel business utilizing truckload, LTL, small package, intermodal and internal air and ocean services.
  • Negotiate all carrier and forwarder contracts establishing competitive rates, service, and terms & conditions while driving down overall transportation spend.
  • Responsible for the transportation P&L and the financial performance of our global transportation and import network.
  • Responsible for daily operational execution of the transportation network including: on-time pick-up and delivery, carrier capacity management, loss and damage claims and KPI metrics.

Education and/or Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or equivalent area.

· 10 years of experience managing a multi-facility, high volume in-house or 3PL relationship supporting an omni-channel business.

· Demonstrable experience successfully managing the P&L for fulfillment, import-export and transportation operations.

· Strong background in omni-channel fulfillment operations.

· Strong working knowledge of both Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; preferred experience with Manhattan Scale (WMS) and Oracle Fusion (ERP).

· Experience working with IT team to implement and develop system solutions to address various operations issues including inventory management, order allocations, etc.

· Complete understanding of supply chain partner integrations utilizing EDI and API connections.

· Strong interpersonal skills to develop excellent working relationships at various levels across the organization and with 3rd party service providers.

· Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver projects successfully with a strong winning mindset to achieve goals.

Position Summary ​

Accounts Payable Supervisor

Smart LLC is a well-established and innovative car care product company in Gardena, CA. We are looking for the right candidate to join our Accounting Department. Our incredible growth has allowed us to expand, create new exciting products, while still having rewarding opportunities for those individuals that are passionate in what they do.

 

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee of the day-to-day operations of the accounting department in a growing company. Will be strategic, proactive, resourceful, and be able to build strong relationships within the department and cross-functionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and process ~600-700 invoices per week.
  • Process invoices along with the preparation of supporting documents (i.e. purchase orders, receiving documents, check requests and invoice). Reviews quantity, pricing and terms by reference to purchase orders, receiving/packing slips.
  • Manage disbursements and ensure accounts payable liabilities are paid in a timely manner.
  • Monitor AP email Inbox to respond and resolve urgent issues or requests.
  • Oversee weekly check, ACH, wire run.
  • Responsible for weekly and monthly various reports.
  • Maintains vendor master files in computer software application.
  • Assist with ME close processes (i.e. accruals)
  • Assist with 1099 reporting.
  • Assists with external audit requests.
  • Evaluate and prioritize workflow to ensure development and motivation of team members.
  • Perform various administrative responsibilities in supporting the daily departmental operations.
  • Maintain departmental policies, procedures, regulations.
  • Lead, mentor train, and develop current Account Payables staff.
  • Responsible for special projects and other duties as assigned.


Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) or equivalent from four-year college in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years of accounts payable experience. 4 years of experience with managing a team within accounts payable. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Other Qualifications:

  • Must be able to function independently in order to process payables.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with vendors and management in resolving accounts payable issues.
  • Knowledge of supervisory practices.
  • Willingness and ability to function as an effective team member through good communication and cooperation to meet departmental goals.
  • Ability to represent Company in an ethical and professional manner, and to maintain accountability.
  • Must successfully pass any pre-employment requirements.
  • Must have strong detail orientation and high accuracy level.
  • Oracle experience a plus
  • Excel proficiency (Vlookups, pivot tables)
