Vertua-Bond 408 is ultimate is surface prep
products. Vertua-Bond 408 prepares paintwork and fiberglass surfaces
with bonding agents that create the perfect situation for sealants or
paste waxes. Vertua-Bond 408 allows products to perform the way they
were engineered to.
Vertu-Bond 408
lightly cleanses dead, dull, oxidized paint and light minor oxidization,
moderate surface scratches, accumulated road film, tar and calcium/acid
rain deposits. Vertua-Bond 408 revives original paint luster, ideal for
first time sealant or wax users. Vertua-Bond 408 is an essential first
step for proper bonding.
Formulated with essential oils to restore and enrich paint leaving a
wet, glossy, surfaces that is superiorly prepped for sealant or wax
application.
Chemical Guys has always
made it a priority to be where our customers and friends are, and shows
are no exception. This years at the annual PAACE Automechanika show in
MexicoPAACE Automechanika Mexico is
Latin America’s most important automotive trade show. Held annually in
Mexico City, the event draws more than 17,800 attendees in the
automotive industry.
 Held
in conjunction with the International Week of the Automotive Industry
and with the support of important industry associations, PAACE
Automechanika Mexico has become a growing platform for automotive
business in the Mexican and Latin American markets.
This Year Chemical Guys was
proudly requested to detail more then 20 show vehicles featured in the
show.
When Mexico’s own RPM
magazine approached Chemical Guys before the show requesting that our
detailing team take a few of the vehicles they had at the show to the
“Next Level” we were proud.
The award winning show car at this years Automechanika show was
undoubtedly A custom built Gone in 60 seconds Eleanor,
the Shelby GT 500E with some amazing horsepower. The only thing it was
missing was a Chemical Guys shine to make it stand out from the rest.
Professional Detailer Topo Dennis started the detail in Eleanor with
One-Waterless wash and a few Fluffer Microfibers. A quick claying of
the complete vehicle with the use of Chemical guys Light Blue Clay Bar
and Luber assured that the surface was as smooth as the car. Achieving
the perfect finish means prepping the paint. Topo prepared the surface
with Vertuabond 405, and followed it with a double layer of Jetseal
109. The final touch came from a hand applied coat of Petes 53’ Paste
Wax. Eleanor looked nothing shirt of amazing…. The smile on the owners
face was almost an impressing and the crowds of people that swarmed
around the car to take photos and marvel at a spectacular finish. Even
under the bright florescent lights of the convention center Eleanor
shined like no other.
Vertu-Bond 408-
can be applied by hand
or with a machine. A light finishing pad or ultra light polishing pad is
recommended. Chemical Guys suggests the use of Chemical Guys MPT Pads Red or
Blue.
WHY MPT PADS? - New
Micro-pore Technology foam enables the user to use this pad on a Rotary
or PC device. Micro-Pore foam ensures that every pore exactly the same
size as the one next to it, this way CG-Specializing pads can assure a
perfect finish every time on a PC or Rotary. You will notice when you squeeze our pads
that they are very dense, Micro-Pore pads are dense to keep the product
in the pad for even spreading, cutting, polishing and finishing.
Utilizing Dense Micro-Pore Technology (MPT) also allows CG-Specializing
pads to be used at higher speed setting to deliver a truly perfect
finish by reducing, slinging and waste and increasing coverage area.
