Q. The bird dropping was on my car and when I removed it there is a
mark or stain in the paint what can I do?
1) Light surfaces etches caused by acidic bird dropping can be
removed by compounding or in some case a light polish.
2) If the acid has eaten through the paint or into the clear coat,
in some cases they can be wet sanded out with the use of a Flex
Sanding block and the correct water sanding sheets and then buffed
out with P40 Polish or a compound.
3) Neglected bird dropping that have severely damaged the paint
could in many cases require you to repaint that area.
