SCRATCH & SWIRL REMOVAL
Last Updated: 06/22/2010
I have some minor scratches and swirls, can I remove them?

SCRATCHES

Q. Can scratches be removed from my paint job without my vehicle having to be repainted?

A.

1) Light surface scratches can be removed by compounding or in some case a light polish.

2) If scratches have only gone through one or two coats of clear, they can be wet
sanded out with the use of a Flex Sanding block and the correct water sanding sheets.

3) If scratches have gone completely thought clear coat, then the vehicle will have to be repainted.
