5” Rotary BACKING  PLATE

The Chemical Guys Pure Perfection backing plate is the first ever 5” backing plate engineered and designed for the rotary machine for use with 5 “ Pads.

The 5” Flexible Backing Plate is unlike any before it.  The highly flexible design allows for very easy transitioning from flat to contoured surfaces, and the hook and loop backing material enables quick and easy pad changes (hook and loop). The edges of the pad flex to allow for easy use on flat and rounded edges, made of flexible, molded urethane outside with an internal sponge compression design that allows the backing plate to compress and rebound forming to surfaces both flat and round. 

The Perfection-III backing plate bends to allow the pad to conform to the curves of your vehicle.  

Chemical Guys Perfection III 5”  Rotary Backing Plate is made from an impact resistant synthetic nylon plate bonded to a 22 mm thick layer of dense cellular foam coated with a molded urethane outer shell to allow for maximum flex and performance.

The Perfection-III backing plate  is ideal for use with 5/8" x 11 threaded rotary machine polishers such as the Flex L3403VRG, Flex LK603VVB, Makita 9227, Metabo PE12-175, Dewalt 849, and Hitachi SP18VA or any 5/8 x 11 threaded rotary machine polishers. The highly flexible design allows for very easy transitioning from flat to contoured surfaces and the hook and loop backing material enables quick and easy pad changes.
